It took me more than a few months to write this, and I am still apprehensive about doing so. I’ve changed the message several times. I received some backlash from the email I sent around September 25^th regarding my possible early retirement. It seems that even the mention of Trump, however benign and factual, will cause some people to get a little bristled.

I get it—for many of us, emotions are running high. Still, I believe we have more in common than polling suggests, and most of us would like to see unity in solving the real problems facing America and the world. I want to be part of the community that does that.

I also want the insurance professionals who take our classes to understand our reduced class schedule and my desire to see you in one of our upcoming live insurance continuing education classes.

I teach government policy. That is what INSURANCE CONTINUING EDUCATION is: GOVERNMENT POLICY. A law was passed requiring a license to sell insurance, and one must complete a certain number of educational hours to maintain that license. GOVERNMENT POLICY. Insurance products and investments are available because laws were passed to permit their existence within specific parameters. Taxes, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and many other topics covered in insurance continuing education…on and on and on—all GOVERNMENT POLICY.

Whereas you are required to complete, on average, 12 hours of insurance continuing education every year, I participate in every single one of those classes, discussing GOVERNMENT POLICY.

If we are going to live in this contentious and divisive period, I prefer to use my time, talents, and understanding of GOVERNMENT POLICY to reach a broader audience. I want to complete my book and other writings, to focus on my YouTube channel, and do what I can to make America great through solid GOVERNMENT POLICY that genuinely helps people thrive.

This is my primary reason for writing this email—to let you know that I plan to continue building a community that benefits all people, and I hope you will join me.

To illustrate, here is a list of things I believe nearly every reader (and every American) values:

• We love the freedoms our democracy and constitution have brought us.
• We are tired of the infighting and desire leaders who use language to bring us together.
• There are many things we can all agree on, and it’s better to focus on those than on those that divide us.
• We would like our elected officials to work together on solutions that improve our lives.

I doubt that any of you would disagree with those statements. You might be thinking of reasons why we can’t achieve them, and I understand. The barriers are BIG. However, American ingenuity has overcome numerous obstacles. This is our country. This is our government, and we deserve to have elected officials who prioritize our best interests above all else. I will not tell you who to vote for or deliver a campaign speech. My purpose is to bring us together to learn more about what can make our country great again.

I know that rich discussions about GOVERNMENT POLICY are possible because this is precisely how our LIVE INSURANCE CE CLASSES operate. We join a Zoom room with a live instructor and create a safe space to share our thoughts and experiences. We do this by having two rules:

1. If you want to state something as a fact, be sure you have a proof source available.
2. You can say anything else you might like (provided it is not hurtful or harmful) so long as it begins with an “I” statement—I think…, I believe…, I want…, I’m afraid of… Whatever it may be, we want to hear it.

It’s simple, and in this atmosphere, we have discussed many points of GOVERNMENT POLICY that impact our lives today. Those impacts are reflected in the following value states that we likely also agree on.

The growing national debt, the Federal Reserve’s choices, and other financial legislation have an impact on our economic stability. –Our classes FINANCIAL FRACTURES and MAKING MONEY are designed to discuss these critical macroeconomic issues.

Things are getting unaffordable for most Americans, and this is a real problem. –No doubt. We tackle this problem and others in our classes, MIDDLE CLASS GAP and LIVING YOUR BEST RETIREMENT.

Not only will you join a valuable discussion, but you will also earn your insurance continuing education. It’s essential to register early to participate in these LIVE INSURANCE CE CLASSES. I am reducing my teaching schedule and will continue to do so depending on what the future brings. Here are the changes I have made thus far:

1. We offer three live insurance CE courses in November 2025, and there will be no live courses in December 2025.
2. Historically, we scheduled to teach six 4-hour classes each month or 24 live instruction hours. For 2026, we consolidated this to four courses, totaling 16 hours of insurance continuing education each month.
3. Typically, we would have published classes for 2027 by now. I have not done so because I am still deciding what LIVE INSURANCE CE CLASSES  at Bryan Ventures will look like for future years.
4. Our online course library remains the same and will likely be expanded in my free time.

What this means is that if you prefer LIVE INSURANCE CE CLASSES and want to be part of these valuable discussions, you should register in advance to ensure the classes are available when you need them. Depending on my success in reaching a broader audience outside of insurance continuing education, I will likely reduce our LIVE INSURANCE CE CLASSES even further.

However, at this moment, I can’t imagine not meeting you in a Zoom room to discuss some valuable points on GOVERNMENT POLICY and to support each other. I know I can no longer maintain the same schedule, and I hope you will be flexible enough to prioritize meeting me when you can. You bring me joy and perspective, and you bless me.
