Feliz año nuevo (HAPPY NEW YEAR) from Mexico! I hope everything is perfectly wonderful in your section of the world and you enjoyed the holiday festivities. I have several insurance continuing education updates for 2025, so let’s jump right in.

1. NEW PHONE NUMBER: For over two decades, we’ve had the same number–651.257.8799. When we started our LIVE INSURANCE CONTINUING EDUCATION WEBINARS, I got a GOOGLE VOICE number for agents to sign in to class–651.321.4294. Agents were increasingly using the sign-in number for customer service requests. When Verizon started giving me problems with our billing for the 8799 number, the choice to switch to Google was easy. In the future, call or text us at 651.321.4294 for any customer service.

2. YOUTUBE CHANNEL: I will spend more time on the YOUTUBE CHANNEL, FEARLESS FINANCES. I’ve found that I love this creative way of teaching, and I also believe our country needs people on public platforms to put out the truth about financial planning, the economy, and government programs. So much disinformation is out there, impacting at least our last three presidential elections. The stakes are BIG. The American people will only get a free and fair election if they base their vote on truth and facts. While I have no idea how many voters I might reach, I have a unique background and want to do my part.

3. REGISTER EARLY FOR WEBINARS: As I move more into other platforms, I will become more selective about how many webinars I instruct. This makes it even more important to register well before your renewal date allowing for time to get all 24 hours credit. Regardless of your upcoming renewal date, I encourage you to look at the schedule and REGISTER NOW so you can be assured to get the courses you want.

4. IN-PERSON CLASSES: I hope to do another set of in-person insurance continuing education classes in Alexandria in August or September. I considered trying to set it up now, but there are a few obstacles. I plan to continue living in Mazatlan, which means I need to find new renters for my home this summer, and my daughter is getting married in Maine this June. With the so many things up in the air, I cannot commit to dates right now. If you have a strong interest in these classes, please let me know. The greater number, the larger the priority to get this booked.
