Do you offer reduced insurance CE tuition rates for your insurance courses for larger groups?
Yes–For groups of three or more agents registering for our insurance courses at the same time, we offer reduced insurance CE tuition rates. This is for mail-in registrations with check payment only. You can locate more information and a special registration form via this link: REFERRALS PAY
How does the purchase of 30 DAYS UNLIMITED ACCESS for the online insurance courses work?
If you purchase 30 DAYS UNLIMITED ACCESS for $30, we will report all completed online insurance courses for 30 days from the time of purchase at our website. Pursuant with state requirements, if your course is not completed within the 30 day time period, you will need to pay for that course or purchase another 30 days for us to validate and report the CE credit hours. You will not be asked to take the course or the exam again.

How do I get future updates for upcoming classes and other special offers for your insurance courses?
We no longer advertise via regular mail, but instead share our special offers for our insurance classes and industry updates through email to licensed insurance agents. What is my license renewal date?
Your license will expire the last date of your birth month depending on your renewal year. You can find this date on your license. For more information you can check your transcript at Sircon by following the instructions we publish HERE.
House File 791 became effective June 1, 2013. The law, covered under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 72A, relates to suitability in annuity transactions and includes a requirement for insurance producers holding a life insurance line of authority to complete a one-time initial four-credit annuity suitability training course. Are these insurance courses approved for continuing education for all lines of insurance?
Yes–Both our classroom and online courses are approved for a specific number of credit hours of Insurance Continuing Education by the Commissioner of Commerce in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Can a WI resident agent attend courses in MN, or vice versa?
Yes–All of our current classroom offerings are approved insurance continuing education for MN & WI resident agents regardless of location attended. When registering, please note which state is your residence license so we can properly report your credits.
Will I received a certificate of completion?
For both our online and classroom insurance continuing education courses, you will receive a certificate immediately after the course is complete. We also report all earned insurance CE credits daily and for many agents, they are reported within hours of their course completion.
How do I verify my earned insurance CE credits have been submitted to the state?
We publish instructions to check your transcript and verify any earned insurance CE credits have been reported HERE.
PLEASE NOTE: It is important you complete this process now and also before you renew your license. If you do not ensure your transcript contains all earned credits; we not be held liable for reimbursement of any penalties or accept any financial responsibility.
Can agents take prelicensing courses online?
Yes–Bryan Ventures has affiliated with A.D. Bankers to offer these courses on a national level. Click HERE to find out more information and begin the registration process.
Can I take an insurance CE class with an identical course title in a new renewal period? Can I take more than one ethics course?
Yes–only identical courses taken in the same renewal period are considered duplicate. As a result, if you are in a new renewal period, you could take any of our online or classroom insurance CE classes.
Yes–agents can take more than one ethic course and any additional ethics hours will simply go toward the 24 hours required for renewal. As a result, you could take numerous ethics classes for your renewal.
What is CFP® credits and will this effect my insurance continuing education?
No–The CFP® validation offered with one of our continuing education ethics courses entitled CFP Board Code of Ethics will not affect your insurance CE, and you do not need to pay the extra processing fee with your tuition unless you need this validation.
CFP® is an acronym for a professional designation entitled Certified Financial Planner. Those with this designation need a specific number of continuing education course hours to keep this accreditation just like an insurance agent is required to take a certain number of CE credit hours to keep their insurance license. Because of the very expensive fees charged by the CFP Board to offer CFP® CE courses, we only offer this validation on one of our online courses entitled CFP Board Code of Ethics.
Do you offer continuing education for Certified Financial Planners (CFP®)?
Because of the very expensive fees charged by the CFP Board to offer these CE credits and the limited revenue generated over the last two years that we offered these approved courses, we only have one course approved for CFP validation: CFP Board Code of Ethics. This course meets the two hour CFP Board's ethics requirement and offers four hours insurance CE as well as meets the ethics requirement for both Minnesota and Wisconsin resident agents.
Is there a test at the end of the online insurance CE courses?
Yes–Most states which allow online continuing education require an exam to indicate completion of the course. Our courses offer sample questions throughout the material to increase retention and the exam only has T/F questions with only 70% accuracy is required for successful completion. Once I register for an online CE insurance course, can I review the course material anytime? How do I access the courses?
Yes–When you register, you can immediately access your online insurance CE courses through your Learning Center. You can access this through the MY ACCOUNT (or LOG IN/REGISTER) page in the upper right corner or selecting ACCESS LEARNING CENTER from the ONLINE COURSES header located at either the top or bottom of any page at our website. If you enter through the MY ACCOUNT page, simple select the link beneath your name that says, ACCESS YOUR INSURANCE COURSES.
Is the tuition refundable?
You should cancel your classroom registration five days prior to the meeting date for a full refund. Because we are required to confirm attendance at our classroom CE locations, we reserve the right to withhold some tuition to reimburse cost of late cancellations. If class is canceled, other locations & dates will be made available. You may always apply paid tuition to any of our other insurance CE offerings.
Do I have to register online through the website?
Although online registration is easiest way to register for any course, it is not required. Our current course information including a registration form is available HERE. You need Adobe Acrobat to view the form. You can access a free download of this program by clicking HERE.
Just print the form to complete the registration information and either mail or fax it to our office. Our address & fax number provided in the information or at the top of any of our web-pages.
For online courses, registering online is the best method. Once the registration and payment has been processed, instructions to access the course will be emailed immediately so you can begin the course whenever it's convenient.
Does WI require the exam be PROCTORED?
Yes–Of the online insurance CE classes we offer, only Wisconsin requires the final exam be proctored by a disinterested third party who witnessed you taking the course and can attest to your identity. BRYAN VENTURES CANNOT PROCTOR THE COURSE ON YOUR BEHALF.
Once a WI resident insurance agent submits the online CE course exam, an electronic PROCTOR FORM will appear. The proctor must fully complete and submit the Proctor Form before you will receive your certificate. Because this is a WI insurance CE requirement, we cannot validate your earned CE credits or report the insurance CE hours to the state until the PROCTOR FORM has been submitted.
How does a proctor in Wisconsin complete the form?
For our Wisconsin online insurance CE courses, the proctor form will appear after you gain successful results on the final exam and is necessary before you can print your certificate.
If your proctor cannot complete the PROCTOR FORM immediately after your online CE exam submission, simply log into that course again and click the link in the left column entitled, "FINAL EXAM/COURSE CERTIFICATE." The proctor form will then appear and once submitted, you can print your certificate. Please notify us of this late submission so we can ensure we properly report your insurance CE credits.
